Cheerleader Coach Fired After Posing Nude for Playboy
This story has already been posted just about everywhere imaginable so I wasn't going to bother, but since it includes high school cheerleaders, a scandalous firing, and nudity, I'm sort of obligated to at least mention it. Carlie Christine, the cheerleading coach for Casa Robles High School, was fired after it was revealed that she posed nude for Playboy.com's Cyber Girl of the Week.
Parents and some students, who did not want to be identified, exposed the coach to school officials after rumors started slowly getting out that she had posed nude.

"I think it's unacceptable. It's not fair," says Jamye Curtis.

What apparently uncovered the coach was when some girls didn't make the cheerleading squad because they had a few unexcused absences from school. Their parents then made copies of Christine and dropped the pictures on the principal's desk.

Christine was then fired from her position at Casa Robles High School.

"And I was in shock that I knew the girls had seen it and knew about it," a parent told CBS13.

So basically some parents decided to have her fired because their slut daughters had been skipping school and didn't make the cheerleading squad? Way to do the right thing and teach your kids an important life lesson, Mom and Dad.

The NBA Playoffs Just Got Really Boring
The mysterious Kevin Garnett injury saga has finally come to an end, as Celtics' coach Doc Rivers spoke with the media Thursday morning and essentially ended the team's hopes of defending their title.
"It's not official that he's out for the entire playoffs, but it's official as far as I'm concerned," Rivers said before practice at the team's workout facility. "I just don't see how. I hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see it."
Not only can you stick a fork in Boston without the most important member of their big three, you can pretty much stick a fork in the entire NBA playoffs. Wake me up when Kobe vs. LeBron starts, because not only are the Lakers and Cavs clearly the two best remaining teams, even if someone else gets hot there's no way in hell the NBA would allow an upset. They'd put either team on the foul line seventy times a game if need be.

If you thought I was cynical about the NBA before (which I was), you'd better believe I'm twice as cynical now that over half the teams in the league are in financial trouble and are sweating how many season ticket holders will renew for next season.

Cris Collinsworth to Replace John Madden for NBC
At the age of 73, it's hardly a surprise that John Madden has decided to call it quits and stop announcing NFL games for NBC. In a press release he explains why he came to this decision:
"It’s time. I’m 73 years old. My 50th wedding anniversary is this fall. I have two great sons and their families and my five grandchildren are at an age now when they know when I’m home and, more importantly, when I’m not..."

“It’s been such a great ride… the NFL has been my life for more than 40 years, it has been my passion – it still is. I appreciate all of the people who are and were such an important part of the most enjoyable, most fun anyone could have… that great life with the teams, the players, the coaches, the owners, the League… my broadcasting partners Pat and Al… the production people and the fans…is still great… it’s still fun and that’s what it makes it hard and that’s why it took me a few months to make a decision."

While it's no secret that Madden's game analysis had declined dramatically in recent years ("If, uh, if uh, the quaterback throws the ball, and uh, and uh, the reciever catches it in the, in the, in the endzone, then that's gonna be, that, that, that's gonna be, that right there, that's gonna be, that, that, that right there, that, that's gonna be a touchdown."), I'll still miss him purely for nostalgic purposes.

Andy Roddick Set to Marry Brooklyn Decker
Tennis star Andy Roddick is set to marry Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Brooklyn Decker this weekend. People magazine reports on the details:
Roddick, 26, and Decker, 21, plan to celebrate the nuptials with two days of festivities near Roddick's Austin, Texas, home. "They wanted to keep it local," the source says. And very private. The pared-down guest lists includes mostly family and a few close friends of the pair, who met when Roddick spotted Decker in a magazine and asked his agent to find her number.
Being a professional athlete has got to be awesome. If you see some beautiful model in a magazine you just dial up your agent and tell him to get her digits for you. In a way, agents really are like pimps more than we often realize.

Say what you will about the way Roddick's career has turned out after those early major wins only to get crushed time and time again by the likes of Nadal and Federer, he's clearly a big winner off the court. Some serious congratulations are in order for locking that down.

If you'd like to see more of Brooklyn Decker, perhaps in some lingerie for a change, check her out on our sister site Celebrity Milkshake.

Michael Vick: Reality TV Star?
We might end up seeing Michael Vick on our television screens again sooner than expected, as The Hollywood Reporter says he is currently talking with producers about an unscripted show following his release from prison.
The proposed docu-series would follow Vick starting July 20, the day of his scheduled release from federal custody, and show him trying to "make amends for his past."

Sources said eager producers even visited the suspended Atlanta Falcons quarterback in prison in the hope of signing him. As a result, there's a few different parties claiming to have his rights, which is confusing the industry playing field.

Vick is serving a 23-month sentence for dogfighting conspiracy. His attorneys did not return a call for comment, though they told a judge this month at a bankruptcy hearing that Vick has agreed to a "television documentary deal" that will pay him $600,000.

That amount is only the tip of what Vick is asking for, however. He wants a high dollar figure for participation in the show, plus really needs the cash; he reportedly owes millions to creditors.

I'm fairly sure this show would draw a massive audience between intrigued NFL fans and animal rights activists. From Vick's perspective it's a brilliant idea; he can make some serious money before setting foot back on the field, and with cameras on him 24/7 he won't have a chance to do something stupid and put his return to the NFL in further jeopardy. However, I'm guessing Animal Planet won't be in on the bidding.

Jay Cutler Hooks Up with an F-List Celebrity
Jay Cutler is making himself at home in Chicago by hitting the bars and clubs and reportedly hooking up with internet celebrity Julia Allison. Page Six has the scoop, which most likely came from Allison herself with the obvious "gross" comment intended to make it look otherwise...
"He was sitting in a banquette and she was standing between his thighs, touching them and facing him," says a spy. "They were all over each other. It was kind of gross. He was drinking beer all night but she stuck to water." Our witness says Cutler and Allison left together, but not before he asked the deejay to play the Bears' fight song.
If you're not familiar with Ms. Allison, she's a somewhat well known Internet publicity whore (thanks mostly to Gawker) who occasionally appears on cable news shows due to her past work for Star magazine.

The good thing about a girl like Julia is, there's never anything "alleged" about her. The night of April 11th, she naturally updated her Twitter account to report on the events as they were unfolding...

9:44 pm - Dancing at Hub 51 with Jay Cutler from the Bears!

2:00 am - Jay Cutler told me he "liked [my] headband." Without prompting, I might add. !!!!

There's a good chance "showing him my headband" will become the next catch-phrase for fellatio. She didn't post on Twitter again until the following morning, so you can draw your own conclusions from there. I'm a little disappointed in Cutler - can't a top tier NFL quarterback do a little better? I suppose not with that awful haircut.

Sergio Garcia Will Never Win a Major Until He Grows Up
Before last Friday, Sergio Garcia had gone several years at the Masters without shooting a round under 70. Not that his breakthrough round led anywhere, as he quickly faded over the weekend and ended up near the end of the pack amongst those who made the cut. So maybe Augusta National simply doesn't suit his game? Of course not, it's just because the course sucks.

This interview with the Golf Channel is the latest in a long line of incidents of Sergio acting - if you'll excuse me - like a whiny little bitch. Can you imagine Tiger Woods ever under any circumstances acting this way? No, because he's not a loser and when he doesn't make the shots he needs to make, he owns it. You'll notice Padraig Harrington, also not a loser, completely contradicts Sergio right after the interview when they ask him about the course.

The one huge thing Sergio seems to forget is that everyone else is always playing the same course in the same conditions, and if Anthony Kim can make 11 birdies in a single round it's ridiculous to suggest the course is unfair. Garcia has as much talent as anyone on tour, but it's obvious he lacks the mental toughness to take full advantage.
